The warming atmosphere combines with ocean forces and causes glaciers to melt but as glaciers retreat, sediment runoff degrades the coastal water quality, threatening ecosystem health, therefore, I observe the indicators of healthy glacial fjords by investigating the physical controls and biogeochemical characteristics of the glacial ford waters with ship and synchronous satellite observations.
